Cletus
Cletus (Anacletus), traditionally bishop of Rome after Peter and Linus but before Clement, and a martyr of the late 1st century. Nothing is known of him for certain, but the division of Rome into twenty-five parishes is dubiously ascribed to him. Formerly mentioned in the Roman Canon, his feast, with that of Marcellinus, was kept until 1969 on 26 April.
