Climax Lawrence (born January 16, 1979 in Goa) is an Indian professional football player. The midfielder is playing for the Indian Champions Dempo SC and is also part of the Indian national team.

Career

Lawrence started playing the game when he was 12 years old, in 1998 he signed a contract for Salgaocar SC. At his first season, Salgaocar won the NFL. After five years, Climax joined East Bengal in 2004. The following season he switched to Dempo, where he won the last NFL season as well as the first I League season.

He also featured the Dempo squad at the 2008 AFC Cup, which made it to the semi finals.

National team

In 2002 he was called to the Indian NT by coach Stephen Constantine. Since then he's a part of the NT. In the AFC Challenge Cup, he scored the winning goal in the 91st minute against Afghanistan to help India to a 1-0 victory.
