climbing form

A concrete form which is raised vertically for succeeding lifts, 6 of concrete in a given structure, usually supported on anchor bolts or rods embedded in the top of the previous lift; the form is moved only after an entire lift is placed and partially hardened; not the same as a slip form, which moves during the placement of concrete.
