Clipper Magazine is a corporation that produces coupon and advertisement magazines in over 405 individual markets in 26 states. The company started in 1983 as a student business at Franklin & Marshall College, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, by Steve Zuckerman, Ian Ruzow, and Bob Zuckerman. The magazine is mailed between 6, 9 or 12 times annually based on the strength of the particular market - to include: Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Illinois, Arizona, California, Oregon, Alabama, Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Kentucky. In Georgia and Arizona, the magazine carries the name "Savvy Shopper". The magazine's readership exceeds 30 million annually. A few years back Clipper Magazine gave up their independence and was purchased by Gannett Newspapers - it still survives and is now augmented with national ads. The company recently started an association with Reward$ Magazine in Dayton, Ohio.

The company mainly focuses its advertising efforts on local and small businesses in each area, but does cater to national business as well. Areas of focus include automotive, beauty and fitness, food, health, home furnishing, home improvement, retail, and professional.
