Clitherall is a city in Otter Tail County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 118 at the 2000
census.

there were 118 people, 51 households, and 32 families residing in the city. The population
density was 227.8/km² (586.2/mi²). There were 62 housing units at an average density of 119.7/km² (308.0/mi²). The racial
makeup of the city was 94.92% White, 4.24%
Native American, and 0.85% from two or more races.
There were 51 households out of which 23.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.8% were married couples living together, 2.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.3% were
non-families. 29.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or
older. The average household size was 2.31 and the average family size was 2.91.
In the city the population was spread out with 23.7% under the age of 18, 8.5% from 18 to 24, 24.6% from 25 to 44, 22.0% from
45 to 64, and 21.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 107.0 males.
For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.5 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $26,667, and the median income for a family was $30,625. Males had a median
income of $25,625 versus $17,813 for females. The per capita income for the city was
