CNN+ (CNN Plus) is a Spanish 24-hour television news channel launched in 1999 by Sogecable and Turner Broadcasting, a unit of Time Warner. The channel is based in Spain.
The slogan of CNN Plus is Está pasando, lo estás viendo (It's happening, you're watching it). In 2008, two another 24-hour television news channels appeared: 'Intereconomía TV' and '24 TVE'. Because of this fact, CNN plus today isn't the audience leader in this type of general information.
In 18 December 2009, CNN+ and the other channels of Sogecable, a PRISA´s business, passed to Mediaset group, who have launched in Spain Telecinco, audience leader today.
