Cochrane Street with the Central-Mid-levels escalators in the background.
Cochrane Street (traditional Chinese: 閣麟街; simplified Chinese: 阁麟街; pinyin: Gélín Jiē; Cantonese Yale: gok3 leun4 gaai1) is a hilly street between Queen's Road Central and the junction with Gage Street and Lyndhurst Terrace in the Central, Hong Kong. The whole street hosts the Central-Mid-levels Escalators.
The road was named after Thomas Alexander Cochrane, a Rear Admiral.
The street runs uphill and many restaurants are on this street.
