Colegio Cesar Chavez, 1973-1983: A Chicano Struggle for Educational Self-Determination is the only book-length study of Colegio Cesar Chavez, which was the nation's only four-year Chicano college with accreditation candidacy. The book was written by Carlos Maldonado and published by Garland Publishers in 2000. The book is an expansion of Maldonado's dissertation, titled "The Longest Running Death in History".
