[cuhl-YAY-tah] Portuguese for "vintage." On the label of a bottle of port, "colheita" indicates that the bottle is not vintage port but rather a tawny port harvested in the indicated year and aged in wood for a minimum of 7 years. Colheita port is sometimes called dated port.
