Game Description

This novel interpretation of sports management computer gaming returns players to a fantasy world of ancient times, where they manage the careers of three up-and-coming gladiators. Each warrior's prowess in the battle arenas is based on five statistics, plus an X-factor "potential" rating which remains hidden from the player. These basic stats can produce nearly countless combinations of characters and players can develop each unique gladiator as they see fit. As in more traditional sports management sims, veterans who are no longer earning their keep may be retired from the team and new recruits may be drafted. Also like many other management sims, the game is text-based and progresses through turn-by-turn cycles of inter-related administrative decisions and complex results.
