Collagenous fibroma (also known as "Desmoplastic fibroblastoma") is a slow-growing, deep-set, benign fibrous tumor, usually located in the deep subcutis, fascia, aponeurosis, or skeletal muscle of the extremities, limb girdles, or head and neck regions.[1]:605
