Business insurance that guarantees the value of appraised collateral and establishes a minimum liquidation value. Generally, the machinery, inventory, or equipment offered for collateral is appraised, and a certificate of guarantee is then issued. This form of lender protection is available from insurers and is used mostly in Asset-Based Lending.
