Comcast Spectacor keeps the testosterone flowing in the City of Brotherly Love. The sports and entertainment company owns and operates both the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team and the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team, along with the city's Wachovia Center and Wachovia Spectrum arenas. Comcast Spectacor also owns event and facility management firm Global Spectrum and Ovations Food Services, a contract foodservices provider and concessions operator. Other operations include New Era Tickets and figure skating promoter Disson Skating. Cable giant Comcast owns 66% of the company; chairman and founder Ed Snider leads the minority owners.
