This vinyl import collects sides by First Class, a Maryland group originally known as Baltimore First Class who took to wearing skintight superhero costumes on stage. These ten songs represent their best for Sylvia Robinson's All Platinum label (before they went rap-crazy with Sugar Hill Records). The midtempo, easy flowing "Me and My Gemini," their biggest recording, only received local and sporadic regional attention. More enjoyable are remakes of the Moments' "I Do" and Linda Jones' "Hypnotized." ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
