Conference Carolinas, formerly known as the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference (or CVAC), is an intercollegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA’s Division II. Conference Carolinas reached its modern incarnation in 1994. Member institutions are located in the southeastern United States in the States of North Carolina and South Carolina. Conference Carolinas officially changed its name on June 1, 2007. The conference currently has 12 members, but one member will depart in 2010.

Conference Carolinas sponsors intercollegiate athletic competition in men's and women's swimming, men’s baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s softball, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball.
