"Conflict Resolution" is the 21st episode of the second season of The Office (U.S. version). It was written by Greg Daniels and directed by Charles McDougall. It first aired on May 4, 2006.
Synopsis
When Michael hears Oscar complaining about Angela's baby poster to Toby, he intervenes and resolves the conflict himself by forcing his "solution" onto all parties. Thus inspired, Michael wrests all the other unresolved office complaints from Toby, determined to resolve them all. Meanwhile, photos for identification badges are being taken in the break room.
Michael publicly reads all the outstanding complaints against everyone, which only serves to heighten office tensions further. Pam is particularly troubled by an anonymous complaint that she plans her wedding during office hours, a complaint she concludes was filed by Angela.
Dwight becomes furious that his voluminous complaints against Jim have gone ignored and demands that Michael fire Jim or he'll quit. When Michael reads all of Jim's pranks on Dwight, Jim begins to regret how much time he wasted at the office.
As everyone poses for a group picture, Jim admits to Pam that it was he who had registered the complaint about her wedding planning. The next day, Jim secretly sees Jan for an interview.

Notes
- The poster Oscar complains about was given to Angela by Toby in the Secret Santa swap in "Christmas Party".
- The final scene in which Toby places the box of complaints on a shelf with hundreds of similar boxes is a nod to the final scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Citizen Kane. (see also: the Government Warehouse plot device)
- Roy's last name is finally revealed on the "Save the Date" card that Angela holds up to the camera: Anderson. If Pam and Roy did end up getting married, her name would become Pam Anderson.
- Creed's turning to his side after having his picture taken suggests that he has had run-ins with the law.
- The five styles in The Mediators tool chest are lose/lose, win/lose, compromise, win/win, and win/win/win
- Scott Adsit plays the photographer in the episode. He stars in 30 Rock.
- Dwight says that he doesn't smile if he can help it in this episode, yet later in the episode he tries to smile in the whole office picture.
