A predefined dial-up connection in Windows. Connectoids are created by clicking Make New Connection in the Dial-Up Networking section of My Computer for each type of connection required to ISPs or different services within the same ISP such as landline versus wireless. To view the connectoids, select My Computer/Dial-Up Networking.

Windows Connectoids
Clicking on any of the three connectoids shown in this dialog box connects to the Internet through two service providers (AOL and Comcat). Right clicking a connectoid lets you select Properties in order to see the current dialing and modem configuration.
