Constantia Maria (Sten) Oomen (born Geldrop, the Netherlands, December 2, 1967) is a Dutch author.

When Oomen was seven years old, she experienced an out-of-body experience while under general anesthesia for a tonsillectomy.^[1] She says that she watched the entire procedure from a distance, and believed for a long time that this was completely normal. Since turning 18, Oomen claims to have experienced regular conscious out-of-body experiences,^[2] and she has kept a daily record of her dreams and out-of-body experiences since 1986.^[3]
