Constitution: That Delicate Balance - Affirmative Action Versus Reverse Discrimination

  • Genre: Culture & Society
  • Movie Type: Law & Crime, Social Issues
  • Release Year: 1984
  • Run Time: 60 minutes

Plot

Part of the Constitution: That Delicate Balance series, this program explores the contentious issue of affirmative action. Viewed by many as blatant reverse discrimination, the affirmative action policies that have helped many African-Americans are debated by legal experts from both sides of the issue. Constitutional law is one of the most difficult areas of the United States legal code and therefore the debates over Constitutional issues remain as long and painful processes -- affirmative action being no exception. This is made clear in this thought-provoking video. ~ Sean Hurley, All Movie Guide
