Sci-Tech Dictionary: continuous forms
(kən¦tin·yə·wəs ′förmz)

(computer science) In character recognition, any batch of source information that exists in reel form, such as tally rolls or cash-register receipts. Preprinted forms that repeat on each page, with the bottom of one page joined to the top of the next by a perforated attachment, so that they can be fed through a printer.

Marketing Dictionary: continuous forms

Forms produced on a web press that are in continuous sheets separated by perforations. They are used for computer printing and are perforated for easy bursting (see burst). Continuous forms have pinfeed holes on either side to permit feeding through track-fed computer printers.
