Cook Political Report

The Cook Political Report is an independent, non-partisan newsletter that analyzes elections and campaigns for the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, Governor's offices and the American Presidency. Coverage also focuses on particularly important initiatives and more general developments in American political culture. Founded by pollster Charlie Cook in 1984, it has come to be relied upon for objective information and analysis about who is running in what races, what the most important dynamics are in the races, and what factors to look for as the campaigns progress.

In 2004, the Report moved to an online format.
