Corinne, pronounced "ker - in", "core - in" or "ko-reen", is a female name, originating in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, and the French or English variant of Corinna or the Greek Korinna, meaning "maiden."

Various spellings of the name exist, although some attest that "Corinne" is the most appropriate and age-old spelling. Other spellings include: Corrine, Corin, Coryn, Korin, Cori, Corrinne, and Korinne. Coco, Corey, Cori, Cor, Kori, Rin, Rinny and Corinney are common nicknames.
