Plot

The 1979 Jeffrey MacDonald murder case is covered in this installment of the Court TV series Crime Stories. MacDonald was a surgeon and Green Beret stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. MPs responded to a call at his apartment, where they discovered the brutally slaughtered bodies of his wife Colette and daughters Kimberly and Kristen. MacDonald claimed to have been awakened by the screams of his family and to have seen the attackers, but was ultimately convicted of the murders himself. This video pays special attention to the long delay between the murders and the trial. ~ Linda J. Shriver, All Movie Guide
