Coxhoe is a village in County Durham, England. It is situated between Bowburn and Cornforth, a few miles south of Durham.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning spent her childhood in nearby Coxhoe Hall. It was demolished by the National Coal Board, on grounds of subsidence.
