History
Craig's Brother was founded in 1995 when Ted Bond left his former band General Handywork to sing and play guitar for the remnants of Andy Snyder, Heath Konkel, and Scott Hrapoff's band Liquid Amber. All the original members of the band knew each other from San Lorenzo Valley High School, from which they all graduated (sans Adam Nigh).
The name "Craig's Brother" came from Scott Hrapoff's older brother, Craig Hrapoff. Craig was popular in high school and caused his younger brother Scott to get the title "Craig's Brother". The band, not having a name for their first show, put "Craig's Brother" on the flyer; the name stuck.
Craig's Brother released their first full length album Homecoming on Tooth & Nail Records in 1998. By this time they had already released two demos: one self-titled cassette tape Demo (1996) and a CD/EP called Keepin' It Real (1997). Homecoming was recorded at Westbeach Studios in Hollywood, was produced by Donnell Cameron, and released by Tooth and Nail in 1998.
In 2000 Craig's Brother recorded their second release, Lost At Sea, and released it through Tooth and Nail, their last for the label.
Craig's Brother released E.P.idemic in 2004 through Takeover Records, a label that is run by former Yellowcard guitarist Ben Harper.
