Crakehall is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England about 2 miles west of Bedale. The village is split up into 2 parts - The west part Little Crakehall and the east Great Crakehall. Nearby villages include Hackforth and Langthorne.

The White Cross at Great Crakehall was near the site of Bedale cattle market in medieval times

A round barrow at grid reference SE235886, 540 m south west of the Bay Horse Inn, is a scheduled ancient monument.[1]
