Cresswell Clementi
Air Vice-Marshal Cresswell Clementi (1918 - 1981) was a Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.
His father Cecil Clementi, was governor of Hong Kong. He joined the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, and the RAF in 1939.
He attended the British nuclear tests in 1958 at Christmas Island.
He retired in 1974. He was Master of the Mercers' Company in 1977.
His son David Clementi is currently chairman of Prudential plc.
