Plot

Telecast in episodes of varying length, the cable-TV documentary series Critical Rescue recounted famous and not-so-famous acts of salvation, providently covered by film and/or video camera. A typical episode was the two-hour "North Hollywood Shootout," culled from a live TV newscast of a gun battle that resulted in two fatalities and several injuries.
