Cronquistianthus consists of 25 species of shrubs native to the Andes in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.[1]
The genus is named after the botanist Arthur John Cronquist (1919–1992).
It contains the following species:
- Cronquistianthus bulliferus
- Cronquistianthus loxensis
- Cronquistianthus niveus
- Cronquistianthus origanoides
- Cronquistianthus rosei
