Crunniuc

Sometimes with the patronymic mac Agnomain. A wealthy farmer of Ulster in the Ulster Cycle who marries Macha (3). It is Crunniuc's boast that Macha can outrun a horse which brings her unfortunate contest when she is in the final hours of her pregnancy. Macha's subsequent curse brings on the debility of the Ulstermen.
