Wikipedia:

Crystal Light

Crystal Light is the name of a sugar-free, energy-free beverage (originally just a beverage powder, which could be soluble in water). It comes in many different flavors, and is made by Kraft Foods.

Originally marketed in 1984 with Linda Evans as its spokesperson (the company got Evans to endorse the product, as her character on Dynasty was named Krystle Carrington), the company later had stars Raquel Welch and Priscilla Presley as spokeswomen. The catch phrase for each of the ads was, "I believe in Crystal Light, because I believe in me!"

It has 5 calories per serving, and a serving is 8 fluid ounces.

Crystal Light is usually sweetened with aspartame, but the newer prepared beverages are now sweetened with sucralose.

Crystal Light has recently begun producing Crystal Light Energy, which contains 60mg of caffeine per serving, or 120mg caffeine per packet.

As of 2007, Crystal Light and similar beverages have experienced a surge in popularity[citation needed], particularly among those seeking to reduce their intake of sodas or juices.
