The excretion of crystals in the urine, causing irritation of the kidney. See also struvite, feline urological syndrome.

Crystalluria refers to crystals found in the urine when performing a urine test.

Clinical significance

It can be an indication of urolithiasis.

It can be associated with cysteinuria.^[1]
