CTB makes automation, feed, and storage equipment for the poultry, swine, grain, and egg industries under such brand names as Agro Logic, Brock, Chore-Time, Fancom, Laake, Mannebeck, PigTek, Porcon, ProTerra, Roxell, Shenandoah, and Uniqfill. CTB's integrated environmental feeding systems for livestock include heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment, as well as poultry nests, incinerators, weigh systems, drinkers, and egg counters, among other products. CTB maintains facilities in Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and the US. Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway purchased the formerly public company in late 2002 for about $180 million.
