A place, or a people, mentioned by Ezekiel together with "Ethiopia, Libya, Lydia, all the mingled people" (Ezek 30:5). The name occurs nowhere else and nothing is known about it. It has been suggested that it is a scribe's error. In some versions it is translated as "Libya".

The Way to a Pennant?
The Way to a Pennant?
Well, sure, the Cubs haven't won the World Series since 1908. You wouldn't have won either, if you had The Curse of the Billy Goat hanging over your head. On this date in 1945, Billy Sianis brought his pet goat to a Series game between the Cubs and the Detroit Tigers. When he and his pet were evicted because of the goat's bad odor, Sianis placed a curse on the team, saying they'd never again win a pennant or play in a World Series game at Wrigley Field. So far, the dire prediction has proven true; in Major League history, no team has gone longer without winning the pennant than the Chicago Cubs. But, the dry spell may be over this year. The Cubs have won their division and are in the playoffs for the first time since 2003!
