Future

Agence France Presse reports that Indonesia is considering buying Kilo class submarine and Amur class submarine from Russia or Type 214 submarine from Germany. The plan is to buy 12 of them before 2024. Three diesel-electric attack submarines are reportedly on the shopping list as a start.[14]
