Biography

Since their Los Angeles debut in 1995, Custom Made Scare never wanted to fall under the bracket of being labeled as another "punk" or "rock-a-billy" band. Rather, they always considered themselves as a straight-up rock 'n' roll outfit with their own added speed and rowdiness. With the line-up consisting of Charlie (vocals) Kevin Caruso (guitar) Sammy Justinich (bass) and Dave Conrad (drums), Custom Made Service would eventually have the chance to play with likes of Guttermouth, Social Distortion, Agent Orange, Zeke and REO Speedealer amongst other seminal punk mainstays. After signing with LA's Side One Dummy Records in 1998, the band quickly followed through with the release of their debut album The Greatest Show On Dirt in 1999. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
