Cutty Sark DLR station is a station on the Docklands Light Railway a short distance from the historic Cutty Sark ship in the centre of Greenwich in south-east London. It is the closest station to the National Maritime Museum, the former Greenwich Hospital, the Greenwich foot tunnel, Greenwich's town centre, covered market and other tourist attractions. On maps and station signs it is labelled as Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich.
It is the first station south of the River Thames and, as the DLR passes under the river in a tunnel, it is below ground. Along with the other four stations on the Lewisham extension, it is in Travelcard Zones 2 and 3.
The station opened on 3 December 1999.
With the new "Three-carriage Capacity Enhancement Project" for the DLR, Cutty Sark will be a station where trains use selective door operation, as the platform cannot be extended due to it being on a heritage site.
