The institution promotes academic advancement through transfer articulation agreements with four-year colleges and universities. CCC is accredited through North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and has been the recipient of numerous awards from the American Association of Community Colleges (formerly the American Association of Junior & Community Colleges).[citation needed] Scholarships are provided to CCC students through the Cuyahoga Community College Foundation.
