In cryptography, CWC Mode (Carter-Wegman + CTR mode) is an AEAD block cipher mode of operation designed by Tadayoshi Kohno, John Viega and Doug Whiting. It combines the use of CTR mode for encryption with an efficient polynomial Carter-Wegman MAC.
