Cwmbwrla is a residential suburb of Swansea, Wales falling within the Cwmbwrla ward.[1] Cwmbwrla located about 1 mile (1.5 km) north of Swansea city centre.
It is predominantly a residential area with just a few local convenience stores. The terrain here is mainly undulating and is set high above sea level. Local amenities include the Cwmbwrla primary school, a day centre for mental health services and Cwmbwrla Park which contains several playing fields including two football pitches. Footballer John Charles was born in the area.
Cwmbwrla is also next to other areas, Manselton, which also then leads further up swansea.
