(mathematics) A curve (such as a cycloid, cardioid, or epicycloid) generated by a point of a circle that rolls (without slipping) on a given curve. The intersection of a quadric surface with a sphere. Also known as spherical cyclic curve. The stereographic projection of a spherical cyclic curve. Also known as plane cyclic curve.
