Cyclopentamine (Co-Pyronil) is a stimulant drug structurally related to propylhexedrine, wherein the cyclohexyl ring is replaced with a cyclopentane ring. Due to its strong vasoconstricting properties, cyclopentamine is typically found in over-the-counter nasal decongestant swabs.[1] When ingested in sufficient quantities, it produces effects similar to amphetamines and propylhexedrine.[2] Cyclopentamine-containing products are primarily marketed and distributed in Europe. It is not currently listed as a controlled substance in the United States.
