Horton, Schuler is one of the largest residential construction firms in Hawaii. Schuler designs, builds, and sells mainly single-family houses, but also townhomes and condominiums, on The Big Island, Kauai, Oahu, and Maui. Its houses typically range in size from 1,000 sq. ft. to 2,500 sq. ft. Founded by Jim Schuler in 1973, Schuler Homes was acquired by D.R. Horton in 2002. Since its founding, Schuler has built more than 8,000 homes in Hawaii.
