Dale Amon, an editor of "samizdata.net" since 2001, is an internet consultant, and was founder and director of Village Networking, LTD., a high-end internet consulting firm. Dale graduated from Carnegie Mellon University's Electrical Engineering Department, and went to work as a consultant in general hardware and software trouble-shooting.
When he's not busy with his blogging, Dale operates the online archives of the Internet-based "Space Digest"; he has been a keeper of those archives since the mid 80s and a contributor since 1984. Dale has also worked both on and behind the stage in theatre, as an actor, electrician, lighting designer, technical director, producer and stage carpenter. Dale is based in Ireland.
