Dalton Utilities carpets the "Carpet Capital of the World" with wall-to-energy services. The multi-utility provides power and telecommunications services to residents and businesses in Dalton, Georgia and surrounding areas. The company distributes electricity to more than 14,520 customers, natural gas to 9,000 customers, water to about 34,500 customers, and wastewater collection and treatment services to 11,600 customers. Dalton Utilities also has power generation operations. The utility's OptiLink division provides telephone, cable TV, and Internet access services.
