Dan Greaney is an American television writer. He has written for The Simpsons. He was hired during the show's seventh season, but left after season eleven. He returned to the Simpsons staff during the thirteenth season. According to the DVD commentaries, prior to writing for the Simpsons, Greaney was working as a lawyer and was contemplating moving to Kiev, Ukraine to work for a start-up company. He said that The Simpsons "saved me from that."
