History

Dananananaykroyd was formed in January 2006 when the former band of members James Hamilton and David Roy, 'Multiplies', disbanded.[2] Joining with other musicians from the Glasgow music scene, they formed the original line-up. They have so far released two 7" singles on English labels Moshi Moshi and Jealous, with a Japan-only release on CD collecting both singles together following later. In December 2006, Dananananaykroyd played a self-organised charity gig at Glasgow's Oran Mor venue, which was their last gig before changing to the present line-up.[3]

Trivia

  • Dananananaykroyd features two drummers (playing in unison).
  • They have appeared on BBC Two's Music Show.[4]
