For Keller Williams' legion of fans, Dance -- which slices and dices songs from 2002's Laugh into remixes -- will very likely be a surprising, enjoyable listen. For the unconverted, though, the disc probably won't prove so much frustrating as annoying. Bits of Williams' humor-drenched acoustic numbers echo and repeat amidst electronic beats, synth loops, bleeps and bloops, and entirely too many sampled tablas. There are moments of creativity, for sure. As a form, for that matter, it is a fine way to re-imagine a batch of songs. In the grand scheme of things, though, the music simply isn't that interesting. Like DJ Harry's boring String Cheese Remix Project, the remixes simply aren't far out enough from the songs' original impulses to really stand on their own as anything besides lite electronica. ~ Jesse Jarnow, All Music Guide
