Dandi is a small village in the Navsari district, Gujarat, India. It is located on the coast of the Arabian Sea near the city of Navsari.

It shot into worldwide prominence in 1930 when Mahatma Gandhi selected it to be the place for the Salt Satyagraha. He marched from Ahmedabad to Dandi with some of his followers to protest against the imposition of a tax on salt. It could be said that in this village the beginning of the fall of British rule in India started.
