Danglish is British or American English
pronounced with Danish accent.
What is remarkable about Danglish is that many words are directly translated from Danish. Here is an example: He went up the staircase is directly translated to Han ventede oppe i stærekassen, which means He waited up in the nest box.
The world-famous actor Mads Mikkelsen frequently speaks Danglish, and the Danish Prime Minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, also, especially when a president or prime minister from a foreign country visits Denmark.
The famous Danish writer Karen Blixen also spoke Danglish.
